Satcom provider NSSLGlobal has launched a one-dome, two-connection connectivity service. The new device, called FusionIP, combines VSAT and cellular connectivity within one 60cm SAILOR dome, combining LTE and satellite broadband in one. The firm says that it allows ships to automatically switch between 4G/3G and satellite networks to achieve optimum data speeds and cost efficiency.
NSSLGlobal says that its new product presents a convenient, all-in-one package that is easy to install and provides a global “one SIM, one contract” service with speeds up to 100Mbits.
